What happened?

While the boys are in the bathtub in our bathroom, I remove my make-up at the vanity next to them. I see they're ready to get out so I grab their towels to dry them up.

R:  You look different, Mommy.
Me:  Because I took off my make-up?
R:  Yeah, you look better with the make-up.
Me: {laughs} You should never say that to a girl, ok? And besides, make-up is for fun.  It hides true beauty.
R:  Then why do girls wear it?
Me:  That's a good question.  It's like a necklace, I guess, something that you can wear but you don't need to.
P:  Putting on make-up is fun??!  It doesn't look fun to me!
